Its also better because of the smooth combined solution is more likely to represent the user-observed measurement errors. This provides an even further reduction of user measurement errors, compared to the single reference station case. Also with VRS when you pull into a field and log on it creates the VRS at that point. It is like having the tower in the field. Combining the data from multiple reference stations will give you better corrections then one reference stations data. I would say if you are within a mile of the base yes you would have comparable accuracy, 6-10 I don't believe so.
