Nebraska
1. Warranty most parts are 1-2 years but what about labor? Do you get billed for their time to come swap out a part?
2. I'd ask how many people will be available from support to answer technical questions when they arise and from what hours and on what days.
3. It doesn't hurt to ask if they have a customer close to you (so you can get a 3rd point of view on their service) or how many systems they have running. Because the more experience your dealer has with your desired product, the smoother your training and phone support will go.
4. Don't expect a demo, demand one. Most reputable dealers will grant a demo without question.
5. It also may be important to you that they have someone on staff proficient in atleast A form of GIS software to help you with problems and future requirements there.
6. How much for installation and can you do it yourself to save $$ and have them calibrate it.

Notice how all this advice centers around service/support? yes, it's that important. Beware of REAL cheap support rates. You get what you pay for.

Price should be a consideration but keep in mind dealers of the same product lines shouldn't differ much.
