Here are a few...

How long has he been in the guidance business?

What is the most popular system he sells? (Keep in mind that this isn't necessarily the one you want.)

Does he have a precision farming specialist on staff at the dealership?

How many systems has he sold in the past 6 months?

Can he give you a few names of customers who have bought systems from him?

Does he have a base station network (if you decide for RTK), or will you have to buy your own base, or are there other options available (like CORS)?

Ask him (or at least his pf specialist) to talk to you about things like CORS, latency, CMR, CB-squared, fix, float, PWM, SNR, etc. If you get a blank stare, think twice before buying a system from them. Doesn't mean you shouldn't buy from them, but forewarned is forearmed.
