Some of the WAAS drift might have been caused by using both WAAS SVs at the same time for corrections. Usually both WAAS SVs were transmitting the same corrections from both SVs. When they were doing some testing it seemed like they were sending two different message streams which did not mix very well. That situation was cured by using only one WAAS SV for correction. The spring time is usually the time for increased auroral activity. Altheough there are few sunspots, there still are occasional coronal mass ejections (CME) which can cause problems.
