Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | An implement switch is needed. The main problem would come about in the following scenario: A planter with Seed Command, no implement switch, the planter is raised and driven across an unplanted area with the switchbox on. No seed would be planted but the map would indicate so.
Later when the planter got to that area, the rows would be shut off inapproriately (if Autoswath is active) since the system will think that the area has already been planted.
The current Seed Command module has an implement switch loop like many other modules. It is very simple to wire in an implement switch. In some cases two switches are used to guarantee that the planter is not shut off inappropriately. The switches are wired in parallel that if either switch is in the planting position that the planter would plant.
