Subject: RE: Editing GS1 files on the home computer

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
John Deere folks may have an editor for John Deere files but it doesn't seem to come with any John Deere commercial software. Closest thing I have found is a John Deere file viewer that came with some of their commercial software. It will open John Deere .gss files for read only, but has no editing capability. Attached screen snap shows what that John Deere file viewer printed on PC screen when I used it to open a John Deere flags.gss file. I overlaid John Deere's "About" window in that screen snap to show that John Deere file viewer is ancient JDMap utility....... it may no longer be available.
