Thanks for that. Seen a couple going second hand and wondered if it would work. So with fw 3.05 do you still have to pay $2-3000 to 'turn on' rtk in the ez500 or can you use a corrected external signal from a R8 for free? (paired with a base station) I just feel like I getting screwed virtually paying the purchase price again, just to 'enable' something that's already there and then have to pay the purchase price AGAIN for a rover!
