Netherlands | I know that within a couple of weeks Trimble will release EZG500 firmware V3.05. This firmware makes it possible for the EZG500 to work with external TSIP receivers. The R8 is a TSIP receiver so in that point it should be possible, but because of the fact that the R8 is survey i'm not 100% sure. If it works I'm curious whether or not we can use the R8' GNSS option. Just wait a couple of weeks and you can test it yourself with te new fw.
To use the R8 as base and the EZG500 RTK as rover is no problem, just make the wireless settings matching. We've done this already a couple of times. Same for other Trimble survey receivers. | |
