I'm looking to upgrade my autosteer setup and am looking right now at Trimble. I just talked to the local dealer and he quoted me $7,000 for the EZSteer with the 500 and $26,000 for the autopilot plus $1500 a year for the RTK signal. He said he'd do $24,380 if I brought it in now and paid cash. What do you guys think of this? I thought they were getting to be under $20,000 already. Albeit, his price included setup and everything. He told me I wouldn't have a chance in the world of installing and setting it up myself. The last I talked to an autofarm dealer theirs was $22,000 or so plus only $3500 for a base station or I could probably get a free signal from someone. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit for support but I'd rather do most of it myself. Any input would be great.
