Subject: Re: Banjo MFM 220 Digital Flow Meter???????

I called the Banjo tech. department and he said the meter would work best on the discharge side and it was required to use a 12 inch pipe before the meter and 4 inch pipe after the meter so as not to get any air bubbles going through the meter. I want to run mine on both sides or leave it on the suction side because I would like to measure fertilizer out of my big ground tank. I have liquid phosphates in one tank and nitrogen in another. I draw these out in volume and mix them together. GPI makes a good meter but you have to calibrate it for every different weight liquid you are using. To me it makes sense to use the Banjo that does'nt need to be calibrated. Its just getting it set up right for accuracy.
