Thumb of Michigan
Theres a lot of 3 pt bars with coulter injectors running in my area. Usually NH3 bars that are no longer used. I've used them, sometimes we had trouble keeping the wings in the ground on no-till. Its nice to pull off the tractor tanks (instead of pulling a wagon) in taller corn, but never saw where the wagon hurt much in shorter corn. We use a 1000 ga coulter pull type cart now. Has active downpressure on the wings, and also has the bar on the front side of the cart ahead of the tank. We like it real well so far. Also spot spray corn at the same time as sidedressing. Use a 2 wd drive 8100 to pull 11 coulters. Really only need 125 hp or so to haul it, but the 8100 has the saddle tanks.
