Subject: RE: A Drone that finds tile

Lincoln, NE

DJI has licensed FLIR thermal camera technology - which is some of the best in the world.
This results in the XT thermal camera for the Inspire.

They will be releasing the XT camera in a month or two for the Inspire.
It's a 270 gram thermal camera which will adapt to the X3 mount.
It's not cheap. Prices are to be released soon. Probably around $1500 - $1700 for the low res. XT and near $5,000+ for the 640 higher res version.

Thermal is probably what you are looking for (for tile line I.D.) since it will measure difference in temperature of 1/10 degree F
Soil temperature over the tile line will generally be warmer than the more moist, cooler soils between lines.

You can see tile lines with a reg. camera - but just when the conditions are right.

There will be thermal cameras available for the Phantoms also - eventually.
