wheat77 Could you share your flying experiences & your typical approach to a non-busy, uncontrolled airport & your entry to the traffic pattern and your typical altitude for those ops? Then, how about your TO & climbout? Again, at an uncontrolled airport on a typical VFR day at a non-busy airport I'd define a non-busy airport as one with no air traffic within 5 mis of the airport but you, whether you are on the ground, or approaching the airport for a landing or a practice instrument approach on a VFR day. I get the feeling that you feel it's necessary for all certificated airports to be controlled to the ground within a 5 sm area of the geographical center of the airport. Do I have that assumption correct? Correct me if I misunderstand. Thanks |
