I am in the furthest Northwest corner of Missouri. I farm next to the river and on the other side is Iowa. Of course MO doesn't have a network up and running yet..... just remember we are the show me state. As you know Iowa will have their network up and running in December 2008 (they hope). The closest DOT tower will be Sidney which will be about 25 - 30 miles as the crow flies. Possible drawbacks could be that I wouldn't have any towers to the south or west (Nebraska) of my farm and that I wouldn't be able to access an Iowa network not being a resident. I think I could work around the second one though.
Thanks for the info.... just weighing my options. It seems the longer you use gps the more accurate of a signal you want! | |
