I would say they are using Aeris Communications, according to <a href="http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=109&STORY=/www/story/10-24-2007/0004688933&EDATE=">this link</a>. Aeris essentially consolidate a whole bunch of regional service providers, and a couple of the bigger ones, like sprint, into a virtual network that will give you more coverage than any one traditional provider. If you go <a href="http://www.aeris.net/coverage-maps.html">here</a> and click on the CDMA coverage map, you should be able to get an idea of your coverage. You can do a search if you select the interactive map option.


Essentially it looks like Leica is following the same path that the fleet management companies are doing in the transportation industry (i.e.- PeopleNet).

With the appropriate cabling, yes. Instead of using a SiteNet 900 radio to receive the correction signal into your 500, the correction signal is received by the InTime Connection software package.
