We traded combines this spring, and the new to us combine has a Garmin receiver. Its a little black puck style, with no numbers or identification on it. Ag Leader PF3000 monitor which we had in the last combine. Problem is the monitor is very slow reacting and responding. I installed one of our old Northstar units and everything is working fine. I would think that too many of the NEMA strings are turned on in the Garmin slowing down the Ag Leader. Anyone know how or had any luck reprograming a Garmin??? This unit is wired with a Ethernet type of a phone jack end and this plugs into a changer that alows it to be plugged into the serial port of the PF3000. I found software/updates from the Garmin site that might help, but will not be able to attach the Garmin to the laptop. Thanks Chris |
