If its a GS1 and Mobile Processor I just went through this several weeks ago. Details can be found at:

Local Deere dealer sold me a pin crimped onto a 5" piece of wire for about $0.90 for the RS232 data line, opened the connector housing and pushed it it. I then stripped back and soldered a lead onto the ground line. Just add you a 9-pin RS232 connector (RadioShack, Jameco, Mouser, etc) to the other end, and get a Garmin to 9-pin serial adapter cable and I thing you would be set.

Make sure you get the NMEA strings and baud rate right or it won't play nice with the GS.
