Subject: Implement Switch

I have an implement switch that I got from farmworks that connects to the 9 pin serial cable from my gps antenna to a tablet for a coverage map as I spray. I have this wired to my left boom on a 6700 JD sprayer and has worked fairley good for over 2 years. Two weeks ago I noticed sometimes my coverage map would skip, map for a while then skip a few feet then map again. I checked my wires and they were OK. Then the left boom started not coming on when the other booms would. I could unhook the wire to the implement switch and it would go back to operating. These were the original valves from JD. I bought a set of Tee Jet valves and now they are doing the same thing. I bought a new implement switch from farmworks and its doing the same thing. My brother runs the same switch on a 6500 JD and has had no problems at all.
I called farmworks and got no help at all. Has anyone had this happen to them? Does anyone use a different switch?
Thanks
