| Wondering how some other farmers would spec a Ford pick-up. Looking at F-350 SD super cab. Dont think they are much more dollars than F-250's. Is the ride ok on a 350 ? I dont think I want a diesel. Initial cost is high, and I make lots of short trips. And diesel price ?? Ouch !! I dont think the combo of high sticker, and diesel price can be off-set by better mileage. V-10 should suit my needs. About rear ends... I've had a couple pick-ups with 3.73. Pulls ok. The 4.10,, better puller, bad mileage.. What about a 4.30 ? Have a 20 ft stock trailer, may trade for 24 ft. Will pull usual farm related things. Dry fert carts, N tanks, 8 bale trailer, 1300 gal nurse trailer, etc. Thoughts, opinions ???
