| Are we the only ones who can't keep AC in the semi's? WE bought a Mack about 11 years ago, it was a 1990. The AC did not work and we had it fixed with 134A. That lasted about 8 weeks and cost nearly $1000. We had it worked on again and it lasted about 2 weeks. We had it worked on in another shop several times over the next few years and finally gave up.
Last year we bought a 2000 Freightliner and now the same thing is happening. The dealer repaired it and it worked some, the second shop worked on it and it lasted for a few weeks then the compressor froze up. Had the compressor replaced and it worked for a little while and now it has quit again. The compressor won't turn on.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
