Subject: 4020 injection pump

SE Nebraska
My 4020 started doing the wild thing yesterday out of the blue. It was hard to start, then when I got it going it wouldn't hold a steady rpm. It would rev up a couple hundred rpm and slow down or it would just take off to the max and I would have to shut the key off to stop it. This is all with the throttle lever at various settings from idle to full throttle. I assume its pump time, but is there something simple to take care of till I can spare the time. When it ran ok the pump leaked like a sieve, now it doesn't leak a drop. Are the reman pumps that Deere sells any good? I would have less down time just doing a swap. One more thing, should I replace the injectors while I'm at it? Thanks....
