Subject: A sort of venturi?

No baffling in the supply tank at home which is where the mixing will be done. It is a 1000 gal. tank. It has about 400 or so in it now. If I go get at least 200 gallons of bio, put it in, then call the supplier and have him top it off, I should be ok, right? The static mixer should'nt be needed in this situation should it? Or? The tank does have a 2" fill.

So if I follow you right, I would put the ell in the branch of the tee? Put the 2' pipe in one "end" of the tee and the fill cap on the other end of the tee. Then have the new cap for the ell when not in use? The 1/4" rod is the real part of the "mixer". Without it, it would likely still be ok, but the splash as you call it would remove all doubt that it is mixed together well. ? Sound about right?

Thanks for the info. That is an easy fix as you say, and should only take a minute or two to put together.
