Subject: Re: Rhino, scale question

Central Iowa
We asked for scales and moisture tester on this baler neither was a option we are only 30 miles from plant and they put them on ours and a few others as a demo we really like both they are both tied into the factory monitor like anything new they have had about 3 software updates. Our dealer does sell a aftermarket add on moisture tester dont no much about it. The moisture tester is great even if hay fells dry sometimes it isent plus you can tell in the morning if it is to early or not and at night right when to quit. The scales are really nice some customers cant handle a really heavy bale and some can thier is a big varyation in alfalfa, grass and a mix of both, also moisture plays a big role in the wieght of each bale. You do have to watch the scales in the hills and eventhe flat sometimes if the kicker dont push it away far enough and it rest on the baler it will give it a false reading and not zero out. Some people like to know what a field averaged to so the now haw many pounds they are feding. Dont know what the cost will be but when it becomes a option I would recomened them both.
