How high do you have the hydraulic density set at?(The guage on the front of the baler) How tight do you have the spring tention(factory says 1" baetween top of mounting plate and jam nut). I bale with a 4440 and a 4850, if you want too push it hard enough, you can make the both of them grunt if you want. Big hills pull hard, but wet hay will pull just as hard or harder. You can get by with a 100 HP tractor if you want to bale at 5 MPH, but if you want to bale at 8+ MPH, I would recommend 150+. I have made 30,000+ bales with these balers and if there is one thing that I've learned, its not what to tell you how to do it, its to tell you what not to do. LOL. I'd say that a normal baler and tractor that you have should be a good pair.
