Macon, IL | Nothing irritates me more than to stop working on a project to run to town for a single bolt or small item. I am stocked up with racks for regular bolts but it happened yesterday-I needed a 2" fine thread bolt and after looking through coffee cans for 30 minutes I was off to town. Grrrr.
I want to find a set of a few dozen sizes of fine thread and metric bolts and nuts so that doesn't happen again. Usually I buy stuff like that from Harbor Freight but they don't seem to have it.
The only ones I have been able to find are 1 individual size or mega kits with 50 of each size for $300-$400. I probably only need metric or fine thread about 2 times a year so I hate to spend that much when 90% will never get used.
Anyone seen a kit anywhere with just 5 or 6 of each size...thinking like $100 or less??
