Thanks for sharing the pictures. Did you get any idea how the wheat is yielding? I hear there are some scab problems in KS & NE. Jacob Gossen made the run through our area for a few years, usually 6 or 7 Gleaners. Droughty crops do not draw many big crews but Jacob has some regular customers here if they have a harvest. His was one of the few Gleaner crews who would run slow enough that the reel/sickle would keep up; his job was not jagged - "flags" here usually indicate the wheat was cut with a Gleaner. I'd like to own a modern Gleaner, they appear to do a good job if not ran in road gear. |
