I've seen that on a 4960. Went to charge the A/C & the rad. was so plugged the condenser didn't have any flow. the clutch was so loose the fan would spin for a few seconds after the engine stopped. The owner, (Mennonite kid), went to JD for a lockup kit, & the parts guy all but refused to sell him one, told him he had to get the clutch...I told him to strap on a set, go back & tell him you WANT a lockup kit...we blew about 10 lb. of crap out of the rad. & condenser to get it to take a charge.

I have been told the lockup kits were hard on belts in a couple instances, others say no problem...
