We also always run the feed accelerator on slow, wheat and canola. It seems to stop the backfeeding you hear once in a while on wheat. Never seems to affect capacity, and haven't burn't any belts since running them on slow. It is also the high capacity feederhouse,so the feed accelerator has different elements on it.
