You can leave the auto U turn on and it will work. But if you are comeing out on a straight headland and turn 90 degree and follow the rows the line will not jump to the next line until you start makeing your turn back in. You have to turn more than 90 degrees from your last pass. You can change the angle of turn down I think, I have not done it yet. I mostly make big curved turns and it works like it is set from default, but if you go straight out and 90 degree turns on headlands you should change the degree of turn setting. I think that would work. You can also turn it off and press B at end of everypass, until you forget and then say a few choice words. Have not tried freeform yet. I still like the row finder better on the ol EZ Plus, maybe I just haven't got use to this 500. What do you have each red light set up as, 3" 6" 12" offline? I think 12" is easier to follow back into the rows. |
