Northern Illinois | I have been working with the 230 this spring and using the automatic boom section control. I noticed the outside boom would work properly on point rows, but not turn the boom on if I only had two rows of corn to spray. I called the technicians at Teejet and they said that the current program will not allow the boom to come on if its not going to spray a certain percent of that boom section. And four feet of a 20' boom is not a large enough section for it to turn on. The technician said he thinks it should be changed, but the programmers don't think its necessary. I suggest if anyone has a Boompilot, they give Teejet a call and have them make the appropriate programming changes.
