i agree in no-till the higther you harvest the better it is, less residue on the soil = better soil drying and and less residue to go trought
to improve you speed in higth corn, you may add a special device on the corn header, it' a 1inch 1/4 pipe , holded by a frame
the pipe must be about 2 feet higther than the rolls, just upward them
this pipe will retain the corn up straws, and the header will swallow a lot less straws, wich is better for the combine work
