Subject: Re: 47x0 Swath Control Settings

Camrose, Alberta
I have a 4720 as well. I use to run a 4710 and had the same problem you are describing. My 4720 has an auxillery line to the boom as well, which is suppose to bleed the air out of the boom and it works. I think what happens is when a guy runs the pump dry you end up with air in boom. The air takes time to bleed off and the flow meter and rate controller get confused with how much is actually flowing through the system. Does your 4720 have the auxillery line to the boom, mine is a 2007?
