Do I really need the optional antenna?
If I have good satellite coverage, is the performance just as good? I use my Garmin 496 and it gets WAAS lock all the time with just a simple little antenna. I have not checked the street price, but maybe it make sense to just buy the AG15 with it., Even with the AG15, it is a $1K cheaper than a 500.
