Northwest Texas Panhandle | Take a look at www.outbackguidance.com. If you don't plan to upgrade to autosteer, you can get the S-lite for right at $1000. I've never run the ez-guide, but I know the outback lightbar is ridiculously simple to run especially if your fields are straight. It has a pretty good contour mode too as long as you go around the outside of the field first and then erase the memory so it doesn't get confused (I suppose you could do the outside last if you erased the memory from the rest of the field).
