Texas		Here is a Faq's page from NTECH which states that the Greenseeker uses IR and NIR light to measure crop biomass and chlorophyl. The NDVI is a measure of plant health and vigor.

I don't have the greenseeker yet. Will be installing one for this years cotton crop for variable rate PGR's and defoliation.
