Willacoochee, GA | We always burn down prior to planting. The main reason was when I spray at 9-10mph with a 2wd tractor, the tractor wanted to slide into the sub-soiler furrow. We have done it both ways, and from a control standpoint, did not see an advantage to one over the other, except for moisture conservation. Spraying ahead of planting has gotten easier though since we bought the Raven Envisio. Just my humble opinion, and I know that all of you are more experienced than me. | |
