I know of some grazers who were asking a similar question about using radishes to extend the grazing season as well as naturally "aerate" the pasture. Haven't heard back yet how if they actually did it and if it worked out- they are Amish and difficult to contact. I get that queston once in a while and I'd like to see some grazers try it. I believe it has merit based on the results we've seen with the tillage radishes used in crop production. I guess the concern would be getting them established in the existing living cover but once they get going they'll compete well.
