Totally Tubular has a tube that shoots the goo right ahead of the closing wheels. It's supposed to be used with a spiked or spader type wheel so that it will get incorperated a little. I wonder if you have to worry about extremely high rates of N that close to the seed causing problems. it also would probably be a little corrosive to the closing wheel. Thinking about putting all the N down that way while planting this year.
