Ed, I have heard and been told that most Dex-Cool problems are caused by folks mixing regular green antifreeze with it. We've never had any problems with it in any of our vehicles, but I did notice the wife's '96 Blazer was starting to cake up quite a bit in the radiator when we got rid of it.
