Sioux Center, Iowa | I'll bite. We've used it almost since it became available. Monsanto is taking a whipping because of consumer ignorance. I haven't been fond of Monsanto since they yanked our chain during the BST shortage a few years ago, but the fact is BST is good for my bottom line. Anyone that claims it "burns out cows" has other management issues going on. There is no proven danger with using bst, and until there is, I'm gonna side with Monsanto. What totally frosted me on the issue was when Wells Blue Bunny started looking for BST free milk. They'd pay a premium right? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Screw them.
