Funny thing ... these scumbags are terrified of feathered farm fowl. Keep a few around the yard, and/or post a sign "beware of attack chickens" and you'll never be bothered again.

Just as effective is a sign saying "beware of snakes". Even the meter reader will refuse to get out of their vehicles.

I haven't tried those tricks myself, but know people who do.

Having dogs hasn't kept our farm shop from being hit. All we can do is lock up and hope for the best.
