Subject: RE: Trencher attachments for skid loaders

Mid Michigan
I have an actual trencher and was doing some work putting in a tile line one day and my cousins kid was watching. He had just got done doing a trench that week with a bobcat skid loader with a trencher attachment. He said it worked really good. They are very powerful according to him. Probably slow like mine but very handy and will work as good or better than a dedicated trencher unit. Skid steers just do everything well. I would think it would be a great purchase. Trenchers are very slow though and they are kind of hard to hold a good grade. But they do the job and are worth their weight in gold. We already can see the benefits of some of the tile i put in last year with mine. It was slow painful work but it pays off. Better than my grandparents that had to dig it by hand 60 years ago. They would have loved my Case trencher backhoe!
