5 mph here. Any faster and the row units get to bouncing too much, etc. This may be different if you plant into ground that has been finished to a garden like surface. Our planting is always no-till or stale seedbed conditions.We generally plant beans at 6.5 mph. We also plant them deeper than most suggest.
