Subject: RE: JD 4030

Saronville NE
We have a 4030 ldr tractor, all it used to do was rake hay, move bales off the field, and run our 7' shredder, mowin rd ditches, after it was overhauled, thats still all we do with it, we never had that promblem, its pry got 900 hrs on OH now. I changed the break in oil after about 50 hrs I think if I remember right, it used some oil at first the first 100 hrs or so, but doesnt now and never had any leaks. But Ive always been told the best way to break a new motor in is pull it hard, so if its still under warranty go pull the guts out of it I quess and see if it stops, then youll know if they screwed up. Good luck
