Subject: JD 4030

Klamath Falls,OR
my 4030 had an engine over haul late last summer and only has 50 hours on the rebuild. runs great doesent miss a beat but it began leaking oil like crazy out of the exhaust manifold. the mechanics at the dealer who worked on it say that if it has been at low rpms and not working hard they can un seat the rings and cause that to happpen. my question is if that is true how long do i need to run it under a load to fix the problem they say a day of hard work? and how much oil can i expect to go flowing down the side of the block? i am tempted to just take it back to the dealer and let them put it on the dyno so it can blow up on there dime, or i can hook something to it and work the heck out of it what are your guys thoughts? faulty work or the rebuild needs to be worked not babied? because all it does is run hay rakes in the summer i would like to get the problem fixed before go time.
Thanks
