Until last year mowed 300a per year with a late model 1209 (12919). bought 10 yrs ago and only but seals in the gear case once. Look at the 1 " bars by the tires and see if the holes are egged out. Converted mine to Jd 820 no clog guards 600a ago best thing I ever did. Keeping 1209 around to mow feilds we don't want the new discbine in.
