East Prairie, MO | The henbit is really getting ahead of us here, going to be a real problem by the time we can get to the field. I would normally start planting corn tomorrow but I'll bet it will be 10 days before you will see wheels turn on my farm and another 3 or 4 after that before I'll be planting! Haven't done ANY fieldwork since November! River to crest on 25th at 54ft now instead of the 55ft earlier forcast. But it will be up for awhile whick makes all the sand ground around here feel like a waterbed under your feet and the heavy ground...well... it just has water standing on it! | |
