Near-north Ontario, French River | We tried vistives last year for the first time. Seemed to yield just as well as any other bean on the market, GMO or conventional included. Premium 'here' is $.35/bu , and with no apparent yield drag the acres are expected to increase in our area this year. Seems as though yields are highly variety dependent, some areas reporting a big yield drag , while other areas the vistives yield right up there with anything else. |
