My opinion is a little different. I had one on my 567 Deere that seemed really erratic. Sometimes I just knew it was dry enough to be baling but the sensor would read in the 30s and 40s. Other times it would read dry enough when you had too much stem moisture to bale. Maybe it was just me being stupid but I gave up on it. I've heard that the sensors that automatically spray the preservative on your hay are really accurate but that doesn't fit my need. That whole set-up is really pricey!
