just hook both positive terminals together and go to the starter with that one. hook both negatives together then hook that one to the tractor frame or something to ground it, you may need another cable to do this. you will still have twelve volts to the starter which is the same you had with two sixs' hooked in a series, and that won't affect any monitors etc.
